noonablog.com is going through some changes and improvements, meaning that some things are not working the way they are supposed to at the moment.
Among other things, there is something wrong with the subscription botton that I can't quite figure out. But my hope is that the noonablog will keep improving and that more Korean readers will find their way here, as soon as I get the Korean translation working. Thank you for the patience!

My name in Paula, but among my Korean friends I am known as 우리 [woori]; something my roommate started calling me a long time ago. I am born 1986, which makes me 25 Korean age, and which also makes me four years older than my boyfriend. That is the reason my blog is called Noona Blog, meaning older sister; which is what he calls me. I come from Stockholm in Sweden, where I have lived my whole life. I have studied four years of environmental science and sustainable development as well as a handful of Korean subjects, although I am still not sure what I want to do with my life. I live in Korea because of different reasons. Although I love my home town Stockholm; Seoul is quite awesome. At the moment I love everything about my life here. I have become enchanted with the Korean culture and the friendly atmosphere of this city. I am also living my dream in terms of being able to experience things and meet people I would never have the chance to, if I wasn’t here.
I wouldn't like to call it a fashion blog, but it sort of is. It is about fashion, lifestyle and popular culture of the young crowd, including myself, in the city Seoul. However, the main object of this blog is to reflect on differences between the western and Korean modern culture. I have a very personal writing style, where I express my opinion and thoughts honestly, which is one of the great benefits of being able to publish stuff on the internet. Therefore I will occasionally address issues I think are important in our society and needs to be talked about, which I think is a terrible shame that more pop culture bloggers don’t do. /Paula 우리
