In elementary school art was my best subject and in middle school I was mostly fucused on my after school activities. In high school I was studying criminology, human behaviour and philosophy. After school I travelled, worked part time jobs and started teaching yoga. The next step that felt just as natural for me as for my academic family was to study at university. So I did. For about four years. I have a degree now, which is a mix of everything that can seem to be important knowledge, although I strongly doubt I will ever work with anything I will need this degree for.
While being quite clueless about the next path of my life, I found a new existence in Korea. I love my life in Seoul to the extent that nothing else seems to matter at the moment more than for me to be able to live there for a while. In this much unplanned stage of my life, where I am not doing much more productive things than blog all day, I have started to realize something that has never occurred to me before. That all I want is to write.

Any ideas what kind of writing you want to do? Or do you mean writing in this blog? Thats admirable too, I mean I’m still trying to come up with a concept, ’cause I’d love to blog too.. How do you come up with your posts?
And how come is your English so good? Or is everyone in Sweden that fluent?

I share your feelings, honey… Back in your equivalent of elementary to middle high school, I got decent grades. In senior high, I got like average lucky-not-to-fail grades. In college, I did English literature and was suddenly struck, in my last year of college life, that contrary to developing a deeper love for the English language, I have bonded with the Chinese language even more! I now do freelance songwriting in Chinese for budding songwriter-composers. Its like, all along I just kind of flowed along with life, considered this that and other, never really felt any CALLING to do something.
Right now I am tutoring as my full time job, but its the song writing that really gets me going, you know? You type, sit back, look at what you’ve put out there and you hear a voice inside saying, “There, THAT is what you are meant to do.”

I don’t really know what kind of writing I would like to do. Occationally I start on writing novels and stuff, but then i change my mind and do something else.
I would love to write for a magazine, would be very fun too.
I have, too, been writing song lyrics ever since I was young. I have always had that as one of my greatest interests – poetry and song writing. I don’t know what i will write – i guess time will tell
Sometimes I say okay I am gonna write about a breakup but the song takes a life of its own and it develops into another theme… I’m looking forward to your writings!
